What a week it's been . . . What a season for that matter. It's as though all of a sudden we've relapsed into winter. We're stoked because, well, let's face it, we're junkies. We can never get
enough. This place is great! You can never rule out the possibility of powder in April, or May even. We definitely got lucky again this past week-end. To see just how lucky, have a look at MMSA's Daily Pic for 4-15-07. Be sure to check back here soon for more Pics from this past storm.
Also, very deserving of attention in the world of OPP news is Lonnie Kauk's assault on snowboarding's Superpark 11 event. Unfortunately, thanks to budget constraints and then some, OPP camera's were unable to make the trip to Keystone, CO
for the 11th annual gathering of snowboarding's finest. We'll be OK though seeing that so much talent is on display daily in Mammoth's terrain parks. That of course includes the awe-inspiring exploits of Lonnie Kauk. And, did we mention that Lonnie killed it at Superpark? He did what seems to come oh-so-naturally to him, and earned the 'Most Outstanding Rider' title for Superpark 11.
Well, with the overall conditions having much improved we are finding ourselves as busy as ever. There's much to be done: bc jumps, urban jibs, park jumps, rails, and pipe, and you name it.
Conditions are great right now and with two possible storms on the horizon our season may get extended even further. We'll do our best to bring you the latest on our Springtime adventures as there surely will be more.
In the meantime have a look at some of the latest updates to the site. The gallery has some amazing new additions, we've added a 'blast from the past' Dialed movie segment to the videos, and of course there's a 'Clip of the Week' that must be seen.
