Until now most could only speculate what might emerge from the OPP studio in anticipation of the release of the young production company's third feature length film. Well, in the wake of the November 7th, 2007 'World-Premiere' the cat comes roaring out of the bag as OPP unveiled ONE-A Lucid Experience to the delight of a packed house. The setting could hardly have been better. . . with nearly all ONE starring athletes present, 100s of excited fans, on the eve of Mammoth Mountain's opening day, at Whiskey Creek, Mammoth Lakes' premiere venue for high-energy entertainment. Best of all, ONE did not disappoint. What OPP's home faithful discovered was more than a movie of extraordinary skiing and snowboarding; they experienced a film that artistically captured the life of outdoor alpine recreation like never before. ONE dared to reach beyond traditional boundaries and unified all aspects of life to convey a message of inspiration.
This diverse film had a little something for everyone. Many complimented the soundtrack composed of up-and-coming musicians, all applauded the generous representations of both skiing and snowboarding and everyone raved over Lonnie Kauk's surprise world-class rock-climbing showing. But the most memorable moment of the night was played out by none other than paraplegic athlete Jeremy McGhee. Last season Jeremy raised his level of riding to epic proportions and the audience was forever changed after having bore witness to his jaw dropping achievements depicted in ONE. In short, ONE went off at Mammoth Lakes' best attended premiere night for 2007. Best part is, you don't have to take our word for it.
